Passing through Dive Ghat reach Jejuri 48 kms away from Pune. Jejuri is known for the Khandoba deity - the fighter God of the Marathas and large congregations attend the annual fair held herein the months Chaitra, Margashirsh, Paush and Magh (months of Hindu Calendar).  Khandoba is shown astride a horse with an angry look. One needs to climb about 200 steps to reach the temple. Number of  â€œDeep Mala”  are a range of lights mounted on stones offered by devitees can be seen on the way.
