At a heoght of 4550 ft (1387 m) this famous fort is a trekkers’ fascination. Worth a visit are Purandeshwar mandir, Kedareshwar mandir, Sawai Madhavrao Peshwa mandir, statue of Murarbaji Deshpande, a par of Sar darwaja, remnants etc.
It is required to carry enough water from base village as Potable water isn`t available on the fort.
Best season :November to February
